eMotion LV1 v10 Compatibility

At this moment in time, we do not support the 64 bit SoundGrid platform. This currently only applies to Waves eMotion LV1 v10 onwards. 


To continue using your Sonnox plug-ins on the SoundGrid platform you'll need to be using these versions, or earlier:

- SoundGrid Studio V9.7.99
- MutliRack V9.80.13

- MutliRack SoundGrid V9.80.13

- eMotion LV1 v9.14.0

Removing a plug-in can crash eMotion LV1 on Windows

  • Affects Windows only
  • Affects eMotion LV1 version 9.14.0.31 Build 102257 and above
  • Affects all Sonnox SoundGrid plug-ins


Recipe

  • Remove a Sonnox plug-in from the eMotion LV1 plug-in rack


Workaround

We are currently waiting for Waves to provide a fix for this issue. As soon as the fix is available, we'll contact all registered Sonnox SoundGrid owners.



Plug-in UIs can disappear

  • Affects Mac only
  • Affects all Sonnox SoundGrid plug-ins
  • Affects all SoundGrid hosts (MultiRack, eMotion LV1, SoundGrid Studio, StudioRack plug-in)


Recipe

  • Move focus away from the main MultiRack window
    • Hide the application (Command+H)
    • Open a Save As... dialog window


Workaround

To restore the missing UI, select a different plug-in, then re-select the Sonnox plug-in.

Cancelling the iLok licence activation process can crash Waves hosts

  • Affects Mac only
  • Affects all Sonnox SoundGrid plug-ins
  • Affects all SoundGrid hosts (MultiRack, eMotion LV1, SoundGrid Studio, StudioRack plug-in)


While this is an intermittent bug, it should be fixed in all the latest builds.

Please download the latest versions of your SoundGrid plug-ins from your mySonnox portal.


Workaround if you're experiencing the issue in the latest builds:

  1. Complete the process, activating the licence to an iLok2 or iLok3
  2. Or insert an iLok2 or iLok3 with the required licence
  3. If you don't have an iLok and licence, uninstall the Sonnox plug-ins


Uninstalling on Mac

  • In the Finder, press Shift+Command+G
  • Paste in this path: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/WPAPI/
  • Move all of the Oxford *.bundle items to the Trash


Uninstalling on Windows

  • Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
  • Run the Sonnox * WPAPI uninstaller(s)
  • If you need to uninstall manually
    • In the Windows file explorer navigate to
      • Program Files\Common Files\WPAPI
      • Program Files (x86)\Common Files\WPAPI
    • and move all of the Oxford *.bundle items to the Recycle Bin
