What formats is Drum Gate available in?
Oxford Drum Gate is available for Native systems, with the installer providing the AAX Native format for Pro Tools, Audio Units (AU) for macOS and VST2/VST3 for Windows and macOS.
Drum Gate is not appropriate for use in live music, due to the long lookahead time, and will therefore not be available for HDX or Waves SoundGrid systems.
Does Drum Gate require an iLok?
All Sonnox G5 plug-ins require a free iLok account to authorise your licence. Oxford Drum Gate does not require a physical iLok USB to work, as it can be authorised using iLok Cloud. For more information about authorisation locations, please read this article.
What are the system requirements?
Oxford Drum Gate is compatible with Windows (7 and later) and macOS (10.7 and later).
OpenGL Support
The minimum version of OpenGL required to use the plug-in is OpenGL 3.3, which was released on March 11, 2010.
Hardware requirements for this version are Nvidia GeForce 400 series and newer, AMD Radeon HD 5000 Series and newer, or Intel HD Graphics in Intel Ivy Bridge processors and newer.
If you're experiencing problems with hardware that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements, you may need to update the drivers on your system:
Driver documentation should indicate the supported version of OpenGL.
If not, the easiest way to check the OpenGL version on your system is to download and run the OpenGL Extensions Viewer application.
