The GML Option is an add‑on for the Oxford R3 EQ that provides enhanced precision EQ curves modelled after the GML 8200 hardware equaliser.
It is only available for the AAX DSP format in Pro Tools HDX and requires an HD‑HDX Oxford EQ licence.

Prerequisites
Existing HD‑HDX Oxford EQ licence (e.g. PTHREQG4, PTHREQG5, PTXREQG5)
Valid Oxford EQ serial number (available in your mySonnox account)
iLok 2, iLok 3, iLok Machine, or iLok Cloud authorisation
Internet connection for purchase and licence deposit
iLok License Manager installed and up‑to‑date
Note: If you have a Native Oxford EQ licence (e.g. NATREQG5), you must upgrade to HD‑HDX before purchasing the GML Option.
Step‑by‑Step Solution
If You Purchased via the Legacy mySonnox Portal
Go to the mySonnox portal.
Log in with your iLok credentials.
Locate your HD‑HDX Oxford EQ licence.
Tick the option:
Add the HDX G5 GML option to your HDX EQ plug‑in
Click Checkout at the top of the page.
Follow the payment process.
The GML Option licence will be deposited into your iLok account.
If You Purchased via the New Sonnox Website
The GML Option is not yet available for direct purchase through the new Sonnox store.
Contact Sonnox Support and request the GML Option purchase link.
Complete your purchase.
The GML Option licence will be deposited into your iLok account.
After Purchase
Update your Oxford EQ HD‑HDX plug‑in to the latest version.
In Pro Tools, insert the EQ on a track and select GML mode from the plug‑in interface.
The EQ can also be used natively if you have the correct HD‑HDX licence and version installed.
