The GML Option is an add‑on for the Oxford R3 EQ that provides enhanced precision EQ curves modelled after the GML 8200 hardware equaliser.
It is only available for the AAX DSP format in Pro Tools HDX and requires an HD‑HDX Oxford EQ licence.
This article explains the requirements, how to purchase the GML Option, and how to activate it.
Prerequisites for the Upgrade
- Ownership of an existing AAX-DSP (HDX) Oxford EQ licence.
- An internet connection to purchase, deposit and activate the licence.
- iLok License Manager installed and up‑to‑date.
Note: If you have a Native Oxford EQ licence (e.g. NATREQG5), you must upgrade to an AAX-DSP licence before you can purchase the GML Option.
