ListenHub hangs on launch after restart or shutdown
Cause
This is caused by the order in which macOS launches applications and services during login. A brief communication failure can occur between ListenHub, the system internet connection, and iLok drivers, causing ListenHub to hang during startup and require a force quit.
Resolution
Disable Launch at Login in both macOS and ListenHub.
In macOS:
- Open System Settings
- Go to General > Login Items
- Remove or disable ListenHub
In ListenHub:
- Open Preferences
- Disable Launch at Login
ListenHub crashes suddenly during use
Cause
This is typically caused by a corrupted FX Chain preference file or an incompatible third-party plugin saved in a ListenHub FX Chain.
Resolution
- Close ListenHub.
- In Finder, navigate to:
~/Library/Application Support/ListenHub
- Delete the contents of the ListenHub folder.
- Restart your Mac.
- Launch ListenHub again.
Warning: Deleting these files will reset all saved plugin chains and ListenHub settings.
