Legacy Installers
In some situations, customers may require access to older plugin versions or discontinued plugin formats that are no longer included with current installers.
Where available, Sonnox Support can provide unsupported legacy installers for existing licence holders.
Please note:
- Legacy installers are provided on an unsupported basis.
- We cannot guarantee compatibility with modern operating systems or host applications.
- Technical support for legacy software may be limited.
VST2 Support
VST2 has been discontinued and is no longer included in current Sonnox installers.
If you require a legacy installer containing the VST2 format, the latest VST2 versions are available on the Sonnox Installers page.

Pro Tools TDM and RTAS Support
TDM and RTAS are legacy Pro Tools plugin formats and require both:
- Compatible legacy installers, depending on your macOS/Windows OS and version of Pro Tools
- A legacy TDM/RTAS licence
Sonnox Support can provide legacy TDM/RTAS licences and installers for eligible products at no additional cost, providing an up to date plugin licence has been purchased. Please get in touch with us to request this.
Important Note
Only products included in the Oxford Elite Bundle date back far enough to support TDM and RTAS formats. Later Sonnox plugins were developed after these formats had been discontinued, therefore are unavailable in TDM or RTAS formats.
Requesting Legacy Software
If you require a legacy installer, or a TDM/RTAS licence, please Contact Sonnox Support and provide:
- The product(s) you own
- Your iLok User ID
- Details of your required format or system configuration
We will advise what legacy software and licensing options are available for your product.
