Should I buy a second hand Sonnox plug-in? : Sonnox Support

Before purchasing a Sonnox licence from an unauthorised seller (e.g. eBay), there are some things which you should know!

Here's what to check first

All Sonnox plug-ins, apart from the Codec Toolbox and VoxDoubler, require the licence to be activated to an iLok2 or iLok3 USB device.
The latest Sonnox licences include the G5 tag in their name and support the latest 64-bit plug-in formats.
G4 licences only support our old 32-bit software which was last updated in 2011.
If you purchase second-hand G4 licences they will need to be upgraded for 64-bit support. This will cost GBP 15 per plug-in for Native 64-bit support, or GBP 50 for AAX DSP support.

Sonnox charges a re-registration fee of GBP 25 per licence, capped at GBP 100 for multiple licences. This is normally paid by the new owner.
