If you’ve forgotten your iLok User ID, don’t worry, there are a couple of easy ways to find or recover it.
Option 1: Locate Your User ID in iLok License Manager
If you have iLok License Manager installed and you’re signed in:
- Open the iLok License Manager application.
- Look in the top-left corner of the window - your User ID appears right next to your name.
- If you have multiple accounts signed in, click your name in the left sidebar to confirm which User ID is active.

Option 2: Recover Your User ID from iLok.com
If you can’t open iLok License Manager or aren’t signed in:
- Go to iLok.com.
- Click “Sign In”, then select “Forgot your User ID?”
- Enter the email address you used when creating your iLok account.
- Click Submit.
What Happens Next
- Single Account: If your email is linked to one iLok account, you’ll receive an email showing your User ID.
- Multiple Accounts: If that email is associated with more than one User ID, the recovery email will list all IDs connected to that address.


Tip
Once you recover your ID, make sure to note it down or save it in a secure place or password manager. You’ll need it to sign in to iLok License Manager, activate licenses, and access your account online.
