How do I uninstall Sonnox plug-ins?

Modified on Wed, 9 Mar, 2022 at 12:12 PM

Windows

  1. From the Start Menu, go to Control Panel > Programs > Remove a Program
  2. Find the Sonnox plug-in in the list and double click it to uninstall

The uninstaller will leave any presets you have saved on disk. If you would like to remove these too, just delete them from these paths:

  • Documents\Sonnox\Presets
  • Program Files\Sonnox\Oxford Plugins\Presets

Mac

Since we don't distribute uninstallers for Mac yet, you'll need to uninstall manually.

First, remove the plug-ins from these folders:

VST

/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3/Sonnox

/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Sonnox

/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Sonnox Native

Audio Unit (AU)

/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components

AAX

/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins

SoundGrid

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/WPAPI

Presets, user guides, install logs

/Library/Application Support/Sonnox

<your username>/Library/Application Support/Sonnox

<your username>/Music/Sonnox
